Throughout his life, Imam Hassan (A.S) protected the religion of his grandfather through wisdom and sacrifice. According to historical traditions, he was martyred through poisoning and was denied burial beside his grandfather, a tragedy that deeply grieves the lovers of Ahlul Bayt (A.S).

His martyrdom reminds believers of the immense sacrifices made by the family of the Holy Prophet for the preservation of Islam.
